Is Charlotte getting PGA Championship in 2017?

(By Ron Green Jr., rgreenjr@charlotteobserver.com) A media conference will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Quail Hollow Club where it’s expected the club and the PGA of America will officially announce the PGA Championship will be played at the south Charlotte club in 2017.
Quail Hollow Club president Johnny Harris declined comment today saying, “It’s not appropriate for me to comment until after the announcement on Tuesday.”
